" I just wanted to write to let you know how fantastic Sophie Brice was with hair and makeup for my wedding on 14th November.  She was so professional and did such a beautiful job with everything.  She was also a wonderfully calming presence on the day, as I was a bit jittery ahead of leaving for the church with my father, and she just set the tone and was so positive and fun, and gave me a good idea of how the day would go and what to expect!

"  Sophie was fantastic at putting me and my bridesmaids at ease and was incredibly patient when she got roped into helping out with things she didn't need to (like helping the bridesmaids' dresses stay up!). It made a big difference to me to have a professional like Sophie do my hair and make-up - I felt pampered and ended up looking how I actually wanted to on my wedding day rather than trying to do it all by myself and ending up getting stressed!

Sophie was great at understanding what I wanted but also suggested things I wouldn't have thought of myself that worked really well.

"  Sophie did my wedding makeup for me on the 18th July 2009. She traveled to my parents' house (where I would be getting ready on the morning of my wedding) prior to the wedding for a trial. She talked me through different looks and looked through my makeup collection and based my makeup on the make up looks that I like combined with what would best suit me.

On the day of the wedding she was a fantastic person to have around, she kept me calm (as well as everyone else around me!), made sure I had breaks from getting ready to have something to eat and drink and was full of excellent advice which I never would have thought of myself. She was great at helping me with all the stages of getting ready in addition to creating beautiful wedding day make up, making what could have been a stressful morning easy and fun!

I prefer a natural look, which she created perfectly, with beautiful tones to match my dress. I give Sophie 10 out of 10 and would thoroughly recommend her to anybody looking for an exceptionally skilled makeup artist with an ability to make everything run smoothly throughout a potentially nerve wracking time! "

She listened to my concerns and requirements and tailored my makeup and hairstyle to suit my needs whilst giving me honest professional opinion along the way.

By the way, listen to her when she tells you how long it will take to get ready. It sounded too long when she first said it but I went along with it and I am glad I did. You do not realise how many times you will get interrupted by photographers, florists, champagne with the bridesmaids, food etc and because I took her advice we had a great relaxing morning with no rush and were able to enjoy it!"
